FAQs

What type of files should I send you for production?

Please be sure to send your files in vector format for best results. This can be an .EPS, an .AI, an .SVG and in some cases, a .PDF file. If you have a special font, be sure to outline your text or share your font.

Is your artwork to scale? If not, please be sure to indicate the desired dimensions as well as the color(s) you would like your labels and tags to be.

What color guide do you use?

We use the Pantone color matching system (PMS) for all productions. In-house books include the solid coated (C) and uncoated (U) books as well as the Home and Interiors (TPX) book. We can also match colors to a previous sample or fabric swatches that are sent in.

Woven labels are matched as closely as possible to PMS colors based on the yarn options available.

Should I choose Printed Labels or Woven Labels?

Printed labels have superior definition of artwork and are best for small details and crisp fonts. Printed labels are also available in a wide array of possible base substrates giving you the opportunity to differentiate your brand from everyone else.

Woven labels are typically associated with luxury and are very durable. They are available in several finishes and can be laser cut to specific shapes.

What do all the wash symbols mean?

We've got a cheat sheet with all the most popular symbols explained. See it HERE!

You are not required by law to include the symbols on your labels. However, if you would like to have them, we are happy to add the appropriate symbols to your labels, just simply ask.

What are your turnaround times?

This depends on the type of product:

- Semi-customizable labels are 5-7 business days following PDF proof approval.

- Fully customizable labels are 15-20 business days following PDF proof approval.

- Hardware dependent on complexity of the project.

What is the minimum quantity?
